"I am a beneficiary of the Parent Empowerment Program. I was given the scholarship to complete my college education. My daughter was also a beneficiary of sponsorship from preschool until she completed her college education. LCP contributed so much in changing of who I am today and my family. My commitment is to be able to serve God by serving His people. It is not just about working but it enables me to give back to what He has given me personally and my family. The teaching about Jesus and empowerment of the poor through the opportunity for education is what I love best about LCP?"

"I have 5 daughters who all finished school, graduated and now have professional careers. I would never have done it without LCP. One of my daughters was sponsored from grade 3 up to college. Another two daughters were able to avail themselves of college sponsorships. One is now certified accountant another a public school teacher. I would like to say thank you so much the Lord, the founders of LCP, Dr Douglas and Bettie Elwood, whose lives are a blessing to so many people, and all the sponsors and volunteers who are working so hard to help the children.”

“I was one of the first children to be sponsored back in 1989. Thanks to this I was able to celebrate my High School graduation. At that time there was no LCP program to help with college and my parents could not afford to send me. I was so blessed that LCP
gave me a part time job working in the Sponsorship office and later in the Finance office. I graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor degree in Banking and Finance from Foundation University.I was overwhelmed and happy when they hired me as the College Steward for the LCP College Work Scholarship Program. Thanks to God, LCP, and my sponsors, I have also been able to help my younger brother finish his Bachelor Degree and help my family. LCP changed my life and now I am able to help others fulfill their dreams also."
